I wold like to attend the September Putnam Park Track Day. I have a 2000 Corvette convertible. WIll I be able to run that car there without a roll bar installed if I have the top up? I am an intermediate driver.
In order to run a convertible you must be able to pass the “broom stick” test. Meaning with you sitting in the car with helmet on, and placing a broom stick from the top of the windshield to the factory roll bar. Your helmet must clear the broom stick. If you don’t have a roll bar or factory roll bar I’m afraid your not going to be able drive your car at our event. Safety is our concern here.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
